Sub 4 minutes was the last minute barrier possible to break in this game. I'm really happy with that time and I'm now 100% done with that category! This run was done on 1.07 as crouch sprinting is still in the game, allowing us to save an extra 5-10 seconds. That is basically the only difference compared to current patch. This new route is insanely fast so I expect sub 58 soon! Enjoy the run!

Speedrunners hate this one bridge in Elden Ring :( But in all seriousness, this is just my opinion about why speedruns and no-hit runs lack some of the luster that they did in previous From Software titles. In my own runs, I have been imposing a set of restrictions that I find much more fun, but it is still a shame that the speedrunning community isn’t as active. Also worth noting that this perspective is told from the perspective of a glitchless runner. Runs that use glitches are an entirely different beast with their own issues that I may cover at a later date.
