Visit 🤍 to purchase the Scanfob® Ultra BB2i UHF RFID Reader. This video shows the worlds first Made For iOS [MFi] keyfob sized UHF reader-writer. The Scanfob® Ultra-BB2i can easily be attached to any Android or iOS mobile device for convenient use. ["Works with all iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch models, since 2007"] Here the Ultra-BB2 is unshakably attached to the back of an iPad mini, yet when desired can be easily removed and attached to another device as shown here with the iPhone. [works with iPhone4, iPhone5, iPhone6, iPad mini retina, iPad Air, iPad5, iPad4, iPad3, iPad2, iPad]. If preferred, the UHF reader can also be used with the Scanfob® Brand self retracting reel, in this manner the unit is always handy, and can't be dropped, since the reel safely retracts it. Now we'll show reading the EPC value from UHF tags with the iScanBrowser app on an iPad. With the Ultra-BB2i reader Bluetooth connected, simply tap the RFID Trigger icon and data is posted to any field on any webpage of any website according to iScanBrowser's powerful Web Form Rules (WFRs) technology. [separate UHG GEN2 reader-writer and iPad "up to 10 meters (30 feet)" Powerful & Easy-To-Use Web Form Rules Technology]. Note with one tap iScanBrowser is posting all GEN2 values from the tag: The EPC [Electronic Product Code] in HEX, the Tag ID [TID] in decimal, and User Data in ASCII. [post all GEN2 value EPC+TID+UD]. Want only EPC in ASCII format? [post Post EPC in any format, ASCII, HEX, DEC] Just tap and the EPC is posted to the desired field on the page. Reading data can also be done by putting the reader in constant read mode, in this mode the Ultra-BBi is always reading, just hold it near the tags to read them. The Ultra-BB2i not only reads data it can also write. Here we show writing 512 bits of user data to a UHF tag with iScanBrowser on an iPad. Enter the data to be written, tap write, then put the tag in view and data is written to the tag. [trigger UHF read/write remotely from iPad UI, or button press] Ultra-BB2i can also write the EPC value. This video shows how to connect the scanfob 2002 bluetooth scanner to an ipad, this also works for the iphone and ipod touch. [call outs iPhone 3GS and later, iPod Touch 3rd generation and later] First charge the scanfob for 4 hours until the LED above the button illuminates green. Then scan the "Keyboard HID" barcode, this barcode only needs to be scanned one time when setting up the scanner. Open the settings app and go to Bluetooth, then turn on bluetooth. Scan the "Make Discoverable & Connectable" barcode. The scanfob should show up on the iPad, it may say keyboard instead of scanfob. In any case, set the scanfob to the right of the page, then tap on the scanfob name, the laser beam, on the scanfob will illuminate, immediately and you will see 4 numbers displayed on the iOS device here it shows PIN code 1159. Slide the scan beam left, over the "1" barcode, then away, and back again, then scan the "5" barcode, then the 9 barcode, keeping the scan beam away from any unwanted codes. Scan the end barcode after the numbers, the Scanfob 2002 should beep, and now it's connected to the ipad, this is shown in the iPad Bluetooth device area. Now go to any application, on the ipad, and scan data. Tap to where you want the data, and scan the barcodes. Before we do that we will scan the prefix suffix barcode, then scan the "Enable iOS Keyboard Toggle". This will allow us to turn on and off the onscreen keyboard by pressing the small function button, on the scanner. Now we'll scan barcodes and they will be posted to the cursor location, on the iPad. [call-out showing this works with any iOS app that accepts typed data] To reconnect the scanner to the iPad, do NOT follow the same instructions as the first setup. Turn the scanner off by scanning the "Disconnect and Radio Off", or holding the small button for about 6 seconds until the radio makes the off tone. To reconnect, scan the "Reconnect to Last Device" barcode and wait until you hear the scanner beep, notifying connection to the iPad. Now we will show an alternate way to reconnect the Scanfob 2002 Bluetooth scanner to the iPad. Turn off the scanner Bluetooth by holding down the small button until the radio off tone. Now press the scan button on the scanner with the laser NOT going over a barcode, after about 6 seconds, until the Bluetooth turns on, after a few seconds the scanner will reconnect. It's as simple as that, enjoy your Scanfob 2002 barcode reader. Please contact PEPR.com, for more solutions and support. Thank you for watching. This video demonstrates using the Order-In-Hand™ Mobile Order application and the Scanfob 2002 barcode reader with a Samsung Galaxy Tab for mobile ordering. Here we use data from an example pet supply business. The Mobile Order system supports multiple sales reps, with different customers, different price files, and many other features. The first step is to setup the database files on the associated iScanList.com account. Contact Serilaio.com for more information on server setup. Once the iScanList account setup is complete, launch the Mobile Order application and enter the iScanlist account settings in Menu - Options - iScanList Options. Use Menu - Mobile Order Options to setup and update the databases. "Update Mobile Order Data" will get the latest data on the device from the iScanList.com account. After data is downloaded and checked, go to the Order View. Items can be added by scanning or by lookup. Connect the barcode scanner to the tablet by turning on the scanner Bluetooth, and using the Menu - Connect option in Mobile Order. Scan the first item for the order and you will be prompted for the customer to select. You can get information about the customer by tapping the "I" icon next to the customer name. When the location feature is enabled on the Android tablet, you will see the distance from your current location to each customer. To select the customer for this order tap the customer's name, then enter the quantity for the item. Scan each item you want on the order, and enter a quantity. If you want to add an item by lookup, use the Menu - Find Item, option and start typing the item description. You can continue to type until a unique item is available, or at any time you can stop typing and scroll through the list and pick the item of interest. From the Order View you can view or edit an item using the tap-and-hold menu. For example, to view more detail about an item, tap-and-hold the item of interest and tap Item View. You can scroll to see all the information. Once you have the desired items for the order tap Menu - Upload Order and the order will be sent immediately, or when the network is available. This video demonstrates using a Serialio.com Bluetooth Laser barcode scanner with Grid-in-Hand™ Mobile Grid feature on a Nokia E72 to capture bar code data and send it immediately via the Internet. Mobile Grid feature can be used with the Scanfob 2002, KDC200i 1D scanner and KDC300i 2D scanners, as well as other Bluetooth scanners. Go to Applications on the Symbian phone and launch SerialMagic Professional. Go to the Actions view and confirm "Post Data" is set to "Mobile Grid," or "Grid-In-Hand," (depending on the version). Confirm that "Show Grid on Start" is set to "Yes". From the Options Menu, select "Edit Action Profiles" and select the desired SerialMagic Action Profile from the list. The Action Profile specifies the behavior when each barcode is scanned. The profile can contain many options including prompting for specific information, and optional rules based on patterns of the barcode and RFID data. In this example we will use the "Grid Scan-Date-Time" profile. If the desired profile is not selected, highlight the profile then use menu "Set active". Now go to the Connections view, set "Device Type" to "Scanfob 2002" and set "Choose New Device" to "Yes". Turn on the Scanfob scanner Bluetooth radio by scanning the "Make Discoverable and Connectable" bar code or holding the function key down for about 5 seconds until the scanner beeps to indicate the radio is on. Use the Start control. If the phone does not have a data connection you will get "Activate Bluetooth in offline mode", select yes, If the Scanfob has been previously connected with the Symbian phone it should show up in the list, if not use the "More devices" option to search for it. Once it is found you can use the "Stop" menu option, and then select the scanner. When SerialMagic connects with the Scanfob scanner it will beep. The Mobile Grid should then be displayed. Now scan the barcodes you want to collect and they will be entered into the grid, and then the date and time stamp will be entered into the 2nd column. After you have the desired barcodes, simply use the "Options" menu and choose "Upload". Your scan data will then be sent to the iScanList.com server and the data will be delivered according to the iScanList.com account settings.
